Golcuk is far away 16 km from the center of Bolu. If the altitude of 1250 meters.at the weekend a lot of people visit this nice naturel lake.
Surrounding area is covered with dense pine forest.morning walks, forest air ...every season it is wonderful.
we have travelled from Ankara...aproximately 3 hours later we arrived. (190 km)
if you prefer Istanbul-Bolu way ,it has taken 3,5 hours( 300 km)
there is an restaurant near the lake. you can eat there or you cn buy meat, vegetables, etc from market. but
also there are bungalow houses.but we have stayed in the tent.
